THE BAND MEMBERS

Concetta is one of the Nations most sought-after Female Vocalists! You've heard her gifted pipes on t.v. commercials from L.A. to Boston. For example: “Call 1-800-East-West,” “1-800-mattress,” Ernie Boch Jr's "Come on Down,” “Marshall’s,” ”Oprah” and “McDonald’s” commercials.

Recently, Concetta’s voice landed her in the spotlight with grammy artist MICHAEL BUBLE in concert! Click here to see Concetta singing our National Anthem at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox !!!

You’ll find Concetta’s name in rolling credits on dozens of worldwide recordings, such as Boston’s own Joey McIntyre and the soundtracks of “The Nutty Professor” featuring Eddie Murphy, movies starring Christopher Walken and Isabella Rosellini and newly released movie about Marilyn Monroe. Every week, Concetta’s phone rings and she’s off again to another recording studio ready to sing on the next exciting project in need of her talent.

Concetta is also your helpful planner and M.C. She loves her band, which she affectionately refers to as a family of musicians “friends.” Concetta’s background consists of many attributes including being raised in a musical family (Rock, R & B, Jazz, Latin). It is a musical tradition that goes back generations, followed by singing in front of a 19-piece jazz band in High School, as well as attending the South Shore Conservatory of Music.

Anthony Grant, also know in the band as "T-Bone", has quite the musical background. Growing up in Toledo, Ohio, Anthony listened to his dad sing Opera, Pop, Country, Jazz, R&B, and Gospel music, which explains why he feels "right at home" when performing for some of the same audiences today. Anthony began his musical career playing classical saxophone until landing on the front steps of Berklee College in 1980.

At Berklee, Anthony studied sax with George Garzone and Andy McGhee, and sax, flute, clarinet, and oboe with Joe Viola, who was the department chair at the time. Since leaving Berklee, Anthony has served as arranger/copyist for The Henry Jimenez Orchestra, and various other Boston area Merengue and Salsa bands. He has written jingles and theme songs for a variety of clients, including the community showcase "Visions", which first aired on Channel 56 in 1987.

Anthony has shared the stage with Chaka Khan, George Clinton, Bootsy Collins, and the entire Parliament Funkadelic crew, Tower of Power, Freddy Cole (brother of Nat Cole), Average White Band, Kool and the Gang, Danilo Perez, Walter Beasley, Branford Marsalis, and countless others. In addition to performing with First Class for the last 12 years, Anthony currently runs his own recording studio and music production company "SCBT Productions", working for several different record labels, working with up and coming artists, and continues to contribute o the national music scene. Some of the many dance moves you'll see Anthony execute, can be traced back to his dad, who danced professionally, particularly in the Toledo Ballet's version of "The Nutcracker" for almost ten years! As you may have guessed by now, the talent and energy that emanates from Anthony, has been in the making for many years!
